This is an example of poor teaching from the movie "Amadeus". Mozart wanted to borrow money from Antonio Salieri, and instead, Salieri suggested to earn money by teaching. The environment was not correct; the daughter felt an immense pressure performing in front of her father, and Mozart was trying to suggest that they be left in private. Eventually, the intention is clear; the father does not even care if his daughter learns, he just wanted the dogs to stop barking. It is important to focus on the student when Music is being taught, and the father did not respect that. As well, Mozart let his anger get to him, and did not even give the poor daughter a chance to learn. It is important to keep emotions in check.
These are two scenes between the conductor and a percussionist from the movie "Drumline". These are some important lessons that Dr. Lee teaches Devon: Teamwork and Humility.
This was not the exact clip that I wanted to have shown, but this is from one of my favourite movies, "Les Choristes". Clement Mathieu is a new prefect at the school Fond de L'Etang, and he teaches troubled boys the power of music. Clement Mathieu is such an excellent teacher because in this clip, you can see his passion, and how much he loves his students and how they inspire him.
